WELCOME TO THE BASS STRAIT GAME FISHING CLUB
The Bass Strait game Fishing Club was established in 1995 and now boasts just on 100 members
The club shares its foundations, club rooms, and many of its members, with the Westernport Angling Club and is based in the blue building Adjacent to the Hastings Boat ramp
A member of the GFAV and GFAA the club has a proud history,
Boasting some 10 State and 4 Australian Records and at the time of writing this there are 3 more state records pending.
Whilst Game fishing may seem "a male" bastion the club has many Female, junior, and small fry members and actively promotes family fishing.
General meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the club rooms and we have members from as far and wide as Werribee.
These meeting are always informative and there is always new topics and guest speakers
The club in the 08/09 season has had huge success on the Tournament scene and the club takes great pride in supporting these competitions and the Clubs, organistations, and sponsors, that support them
Willingness to help and assist people who want to get involved in game and sportfishing is the clubs strongest point
